National Health Insurance Service Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Headquarters Holds This Year's Performance Report Meeting The Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service held an integrated care performance report meeting on the 17th.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service held a session on the afternoon of the 17th at the Gyeongnam Social Service Center auditorium in Gimhae City to share the achievements of integrated care.

The Service announced that it held a performance report meeting to review the outcomes of the community integrated care project targeting elderly residents in two villages in Gimhae City and to share best practices.

The Service and the Gyeongnam Social Service Center have been building a continuous and stable care environment where neighbors take care of neighbors this year.

Together with supporters composed of local community residents, they have continued various activities to provide nutrition and emotional support, health management, and maintenance and improvement of cognitive functions for the elderly.

The performance report meeting began with a sand art performance themed on integrated care. It proceeded with the presentation of plaques of appreciation and awards to contributors and institutions involved in the project, sharing of project achievements, and presentations of best practices.

Director Jang Su-mok presented plaques of appreciation to the supporters who worked hard to maintain and improve the health and cognitive functions of home-dwelling elderly in the community. The supporters have been managed by the Graduate School of Geriatrics at Inje University College of Medicine.

Director Jang said, “Since community integrated care is a policy task directly related to the lives of all citizens, the Service will carry out various projects linked with the community to help improve the lives of the people.”
