The Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 17th that Noh Yong-gi, a full-time auditor, received the Best Auditor Award at the '2021 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference' hosted by the Korea Public Institution Auditors Association on the 16th.
The Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference is an event that recognizes the top auditors and the achievements of internal audit organizations in public institutions each year. The Best Auditor Award is given to the top auditor who has made significant contributions to the development of public institutions, ethical management, and the spread of a culture of integrity.
Auditor Noh has promoted smooth audit activities through COVID-19 internal audit safety management measures and established a field-centered preventive audit system.
HUG explained, "He served as the president of the Busan Regional Public Institution Auditors Association and became a role model for other auditors by striving to revitalize exchanges of regional internal audit activities."
Auditor Noh stated, "HUG will continue to do its best to become a trusted and transparent public institution for the people through audit activities that pursue social value in the new normal era, including the COVID-19 situation."
The Korea Public Institution Auditors Association is an internal audit research organization that supports audit education and exchange activities for domestic public institutions and is composed of over 100 member public institutions nationwide.
