"Green Light" for Solar Sido Housing Project, 1,721 Units to be Sold in the First Half of Next Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] A green light has been turned on for the housing project in the tourism leisure enterprise city ‘Sollasido’. Since opening the Sollasido promotional center within Sollasido CC last September, about 1,600 people have submitted preliminary subscription intention forms for ‘Sollasido Golf & Village’.

On the 17th, according to Hanyang, a total of 9,548 people visited the promotional center established within Sollasido CC, and among them, about 1,600 prospective buyers submitted preliminary subscription intention forms for ‘Sollasido Golf & Village’.

Sollasido is a city being developed by Seonamhaean Enterprise City Development, established by Jeollanam-do, Hanyang, Boseong Industry, and other Boseong Group affiliates, on approximately 6.32 million pyeong of land in the Haenam area of Jeollanam-do. Including golf courses, it plans to build tourism leisure facilities such as horseback riding, yachting, hotels, water parks, and mountain gardens, as well as community facilities offering lifestyle and cultural services like healthcare, business centers, and catering by 2025, aiming to lead blue economy and Korea-style Green New Deal policy urban development projects in earnest.

Sollasido plans to sell a total of 1,721 housing units by the first half of next year, including 325 detached houses, 472 terrace houses, and 924 apartment units.

Seonamhaean Enterprise City Development explained, “There has been great interest in housing products linked with the golf course from demand groups in the Gwangju area, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk regions, as well as the metropolitan area,” adding, “This proves the competitiveness of golf + housing products following the popularization of golf and the preference for safe and comfortable housing after COVID-19.” The total area of the housing complex and golf course is approximately 1,851,239㎡.

Earlier in October, Jeonnam Province, Haenam County, Seonamhaean Enterprise City Development, and Thetsgood held an investment agreement ceremony to create a ‘European Village Theme Park’ complex resort facility on 495,000㎡ around the Sollasido enterprise city area. Accordingly, Sollasido is expected to surpass a resident population of 10,000 within the next five years.
