[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Financial Group announced on the 16th that the design of the Cheongna Headquarters won the 'Gold' award, the first place in the uncompleted category, at the '2021 MIPIM Asia Awards' held in Hong Kong on the 8th. On the 9th, it was selected as the 'Winner,' first place in the uncompleted non-residential category, at the '2021 Best of the Year' hosted by the American Interior Design organization.
With this, the Hana Financial Group Cheongna Group Headquarters, scheduled to be completed in Cheongna, Incheon, has achieved a triple crown at globally prestigious awards, including winning the 'Project of the Year' selected by NBBJ in February. This award is especially significant as it marks the first place achievement at the MIPIM Awards, known as one of the largest and most prestigious awards in the real estate development sector worldwide.
A Hana Bank official stated, “We are pleased that the excellence of the Cheongna Group Headquarters design has been recognized through globally prestigious awards,” adding, “The Cheongna Group Headquarters, which will be composed of creative spaces, is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and will be a space that can inspire employees' imagination.”
Meanwhile, the Cheongna Group Headquarters of Hana Financial Group is the third phase project following the completion of the Integrated Data Center in 2017 and the Hana Global Campus in 2019. It will have 7 basement floors, 15 above-ground floors, and a total floor area of 128,474㎡ (38,864 pyeong), establishing itself as a landmark in Cheongna, Incheon.
