Naver Shopping Live Experiments with Web Variety Commerce Content... Releases 'SsangSsang Invitational'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver Shopping Live announced on the 16th that it will embark on a new content commerce experiment combining web entertainment and commerce.

First, Naver planned and produced the golf entertainment show "SsangSsang Invitational" in collaboration with the content production company Mystic Story, and it will be released every Thursday at 7 PM on Naver Shopping Live and other platforms starting today.

"SsangSsang Invitational" is a sports family entertainment content themed around golf, which has recently gained much attention. A total of eight pairs of star families, including professional golfer Im Jin-han, Kim Ina, Kang Jae-joon, and Lee Eun-hyung, will participate in golf rounds, showcasing entertainment elements and golf stories.

Users can naturally explore and purchase related products while watching the content, and they can also communicate with each other in real time. Starting January next year, a dedicated Shopping Live for "SsangSsang Invitational," featuring fashion, accessories, and beauty brands, is also planned.

In addition, Naver operates various themed shows with different concepts, such as the entertainment live show "Betuman," "Kim Dong-wan's Relego (Leisure)," "Magic Special Price Show," and "Monthly Gift Shop."

Moreover, through diverse attempts covering cultural life, such as "The Meaning of Living," which interviews national master craftsmen and introduces their works, and "Bookstore Live," which revitalizes online book talks, Naver is drawing positive responses from users.

Song Jae-hoon, the lead manager of Naver Shopping Live, said, "In line with the increasing number of users enjoying various original contents planned by Naver, we will diversify content commerce experiments and continue to discover new possibilities for live commerce."
