[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, recently explained the reason for darkening his hair color on the 15th, saying, "Many people think I look older even though I am younger than Yoon Seok-yeol (People Power Party) candidate."

On the same day, in a live broadcast of the video titled "Jaemyeong's Village - Coffee Shop Comment Jam" on the YouTube channel 'Lee Jae-myung TV,' Lee responded to a post asking, "Why did you change your hair color? I liked your old hair color. Could you change it back?" by saying, "I think so too, but I will try it for a while and then decide again." 'Jaemyeong's Village' is an online communication platform created by the Democratic Party's election committee, and 'Coffee Shop,' one of its internal bulletin boards, is a space where netizens can freely ask questions to the candidate.

In response to a post asking, "When will the eagle-style typing be improved?" Lee replied, "I am someone who wrote a book using eagle-style typing," adding, "I have been doing judicial work well for over 20 years."

Regarding a post about "fake news related to my children," he emphasized, "Don't worry. Fake news doesn't last long. This is why I believe in justice eventually prevailing."

When another netizen asked, "Please create a name for the Lee Jae-myung government. How about 'Government of Leap' or 'Government of Coexistence'?" Lee commented, "Lee Jae-myung is Lee Jae-myung. So it is the Lee Jae-myung government."

Lee also responded to a question related to gender issues. To a post saying, "Please create a balanced and gender-equal society. Rather than policies favoring women, please make policies that benefit both men and women," he replied, "One of the important virtues in politics is a sense of balance," and added, "I will strive to maintain it well."

Regarding the demand that "rewards are needed for discharged men," he wrote, "I sympathize," and added, "Appropriate rewards are needed for sacrifices made for the country." He continued, "There are many ways to compensate without causing loss or disadvantage to anyone."
