"I turned each page, feeling a psychological unity with the human Lee Jae-myung, or rather, reading while sobbing"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, evaluated that "Lee Jae-myung has the ability and qualifications to become president" in a post after reading Lee Jae-myung's autobiography, Human Lee Jae-myung.
On the 13th, Jeong posted an article titled "After Reading Human Lee Jae-myung" on his Facebook, stating, "As I turned each page, I felt a psychological unity with the human Lee Jae-myung, or rather, I read it while sobbing."
He said, "(Candidate Lee) was so desperately poor that he was able to overcome hardships and turn crises into opportunities. Poverty was his greatest asset," adding, "I read the book Human Lee Jae-myung in one sitting. Is there such a desperate narrative? Is there another drama with such a dramatic twist? Could even a skilled novelist weave such a life?"
He continued, "Little Jeong Cheong-rae was a happy child compared to Lee Jae-myung. I was a dirt spoon, but Lee Jae-myung was a no-spoon," and said, "I still did not miss school because it was close, but Lee Jae-myung walked 6 km around a hillside to attend elementary school. It is said he missed 76 days in first grade because he could not go to school when it snowed or rained."
He added, "I had rice paddies and fields, so I was not at the point of starving or worrying about meals. Lee Jae-myung is said to have starved as often as eating rice," and said, "My family circumstances were not bad enough to prevent me from going to middle school. Also, in our neighborhood, there were not many kids who could not go to middle school. Lee Jae-myung could not afford middle school, so he lied about his age and had to work in a factory."
Jeong said, "(Candidate Lee) moved around during adolescence working at soldering factories, rubber factories, refrigeration companies, and Orient watch companies. More than the poor factory environment, what tormented him was unprovoked violence. While other kids wore school uniforms and went to school, he wore smelly work clothes and went to the factory much earlier."
He also added, "Still, the reason he did not become crooked and became a 'Korean of willpower' was probably because of his mother's love."
Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Song Young-gil, leader of the Democratic Party, posted on his Facebook recommending the book Human Lee Jae-myung, saying, "I recommend reading the book," and publicly proposed the 'Relay Lee Jae-myung Awareness Campaign,' asking people to read it, post book reports, and recommend it to three others in a relay.
