International Electric Vehicle Expo, Online Business Consultation on 14-15

In May Next Year, the 9th IEVE to Be Held in a 'Online+Offline' Hybrid Format

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] The International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) announced on the 12th that it will hold an 'Online Business Consultation Meeting' at Jeju Kal Hotel in Jeju Island from the 14th to 15th. This event was organized to expand practical business opportunities for companies that participated in the 8th IEVE held last September.

The consultation meeting will involve 20 domestic electric vehicle-related companies and about 20 overseas buyers, and will be conducted through on-site meetings among participating companies and online B2B consultations connecting overseas companies.

Domestically, participants include Daedong, a global agricultural machinery company; Pumpkin, the number one bus charger company; Shinsung ENG, a renewable energy company; and Daeji Jeonggong, a special vehicle export company. Overseas, leading companies such as Saudi Arabia's Aramco, China's TIAA, and Dubai's Delta United will build business networks with domestic and international companies.

Kim Dae-hwan, Director of IEVE, said, "For the first time this year, we have prepared a B2B consultation meeting outside the expo period to provide a practical business platform for related companies. Taking this opportunity, our expo will serve as a year-round business platform, offering domestic and international companies opportunities to expand their markets."

Meanwhile, IEVE will hold the 9th IEVE from May 3 to 6 next year at the Jeju International Convention Center and the Jungmun Tourism Complex. The 9th IEVE, held in a hybrid format combining online and offline, will especially support the activation of the electric vehicle and renewable energy industries and the promotion of exports, focusing on domestic and international small and medium-sized enterprises.

The B2B business consultations will also create an environment where meetings can be held both online and offline, further enhancing the practical business matching effect between companies. The 'IEVE PR Show,' which attracted attention at this year's 8th Expo, will be further upgraded to establish itself as a platform for companies to promote their products. The conference, with over 50 sessions, will be divided into ▲Business Forum ▲Academic Forum ▲Policy Forum, aiming to develop IEVE into the Davos Forum of electric vehicles through diverse and in-depth discussions.
