[Asia Economy Reporter Park Junyi] Asiana Airlines has postponed the resumption of its Guam route, originally scheduled for this month, to next year due to the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
Asiana Airlines announced on the 8th that it will operate the Incheon-Guam route twice a week starting January 30 next year.
Asiana Airlines had planned to operate the Guam route from the 23rd of this month, but decided to delay the operation due to the spread of Omicron and strengthened immigration restrictions. Asiana Airlines has not operated the Guam route since 2003.
