Participants are taking a commemorative photo after the 'Seosaeng-myeon Love Sharing, Kimchi Sharing' event.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters held a ‘Seosaeng-myeon Love Sharing, Kimchi Sharing’ event with the Women’s Association of Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan.
The event was attended by about 30 volunteers from Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters and the Women’s Association.
On the first day, they salted and washed napa cabbages and prepared the cabbage fillings. On the second day, they mixed the cabbage seasoning and packed 300 boxes of kimchi.
The kimchi made was delivered to local neighbors in need, including elderly living alone and basic livelihood security recipients among boys and girls in the area.
Lee Sang-min, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “I hope the kimchi, mixed with love and sincerity, will give strength to the local neighbors in need.”
Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to continue social contribution projects to create a warm local community.
