Jinju Women's Saero Ilhagi Center, Agreement to Establish Employment Network for Career-Interrupted Women

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Jinju Women's New Work Center in Gyeongnam held the '2021 Women-Friendly Partner Company Agreement Ceremony' at 2 p.m. on the 8th at the Eastern Center of the Competency Development Center to promote continuous employment retention and expand job opportunities for women with career interruptions.


At the ceremony, representatives from six companies including Jinju Medical Foundation, Shinchang Industry, Seorim Asset Management, Indain Daycare Center, Haneul Caregiver Training Institute, and Jinju Saem Nursing Academy attended and pledged to actively cooperate in creating a women-friendly organizational culture, improving workplaces for work-family balance, practicing gender equality, and creating jobs for women.


Following the agreement ceremony, a meeting was also held to listen to difficulties caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and discuss active measures for women's social advancement to promote active employment retention.


A representative from the Jinju New Work Center said, “Despite COVID-19, we signed partnership agreements with six companies in the first half of the year and another six companies in the second half. We will continue to discover women-friendly companies to support women's social advancement and do our best to ensure women can work in comfortable and pleasant working environments.”
