[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Junior Reporter Hwang Duyul] Professor Kim Jong-won of the Department of Information Management, Business Administration Major at Dong-Eui University, and Mr. Chae Hyun-sik, a doctoral student in Business Information and e-Business at the graduate school, received the Best Paper Award at the '2021 Fall Conference of the Korean Society for Industrial Information Systems.'
The conference was held under the theme "Future Society with COVID-19 - Digital Transformation."
Professor Kim and Mr. Chae presented a paper titled "An Empirical Study on Delivery App Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Continuous Usage Intention" at the conference.
The paper focused on the impact of perceived service quality of delivery app users in a contactless lifestyle on switching costs, customer satisfaction, and continuous usage intention.
The study provided useful information and implications for users of delivery apps, merchants registered and operating on delivery apps, and platforms connecting customers and restaurants.
Professor Kim Jong-won also received a Special Contribution Award at the conference and was recently elected as the president of the '2023 Korean Society for Management Information Systems.'
