Operational guidelines and support materials for the 2022 academic year to strengthen the self-directed learning system developed by the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Saerom] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced on the 7th that it will develop guidelines and support materials for the 2022 elementary school curriculum organization and operation, and distribute them to all elementary schools in the province.
This material was developed to fill the educational gap caused by COVID-19 and to support a learning system that strengthens students' self-directed learning abilities.
It includes plans to expand the learning content and methods that students can choose from, 'play-linked learning' considering students' developmental stages, the operation of individualized customized curricula using the big data and AI platform iTalkTalk, and practical cases of applying these methods in classes.
In addition, to establish a curriculum centered on self-directed learning, an online training session will be conducted for about 1,200 teachers over four days starting from the 13th.
Superintendent Park Jonghun stated, "We will prepare for the rapidly changing future society with an individualized customized curriculum and foster students' self-directed capabilities."
