Kim Soo-mi's Agency Signs Business Agreement to Revitalize Local Economy through Increased Consumption of Local Specialties

[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] On the 7th, Jeonnam Wando-gun appointed the national actress ‘Ilyong Eomni’ Kim Soo-mi as the promotional ambassador of Wando-gun and signed a business agreement with her agency Napalkkot Group (CEO Jung Myung-ho) to revitalize the local economy through the consumption of specialty products.
The ambassador appointment and business agreement ceremony took place in the large conference room of Wando County Office, attended by about 10 people including County Governor Shin Woo-cheol, actress Kim Soo-mi, Napalkkot Group CEO Jung Myung-ho, and Wando Abalone Co., Ltd. CEO Lee Yoo-sung.
Actress Kim Soo-mi debuted as an MBC 3rd generation public talent in 1971 and has been actively working across TV and screen. She is especially known as a master of hand taste in the entertainment industry, consistently communicating with viewers through various food entertainment programs such as ‘Soomine Banchan’, ‘Are You Eating Well?’, and ‘Soomi’s Mountain Lodge’.
As the promotional ambassador of Wando-gun, Kim Soo-mi plans to actively promote Wando’s specialty products and tourist attractions.
Napalkkot F&B is a food-specialized company operated by Kim Soo-mi’s son, Jung Myung-ho, established in 2018, providing safe food and pursuing customer satisfaction management.
Wando-gun signed a multilateral business agreement with promotional ambassador Kim Soo-mi, Napalkkot F&B, and Wando Abalone Co., Ltd. to revitalize the local economy by expanding the consumption of specialty products.
Ambassador Kim Soo-mi said, “I have returned to Wando after 15 years,” adding, “As the promotional ambassador of Wando-gun, I will actively promote the excellence of Wando’s seafood and its pristine environment through various programs.”
Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, “Through the appointment of the promotional ambassador and the multilateral business agreement, I hope that the synergy effect between Kim Soo-mi’s brand philosophy of making food with carefully selected local specialty ingredients and the clean sea capital Wando brand will not only expand the consumption of our county’s specialty products but also widely promote Wando.”
