[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk (Governor Sim Min) announced on the 7th that it recently conducted safety inspections on small-scale multi-family housing in preparation for the winter season.
The safety inspection targets were small-scale multi-family housing excluding mandatory management multi-family housing, totaling 35 complexes: 17 apartment complexes, 7 row house complexes, and 11 multi-family housing complexes within the jurisdiction.
Under the Apartment Housing Management Act, multi-family housing with 300 or more households, or 150 or more households with elevators installed, are subject to mandatory management, and the management entity regularly conducts safety inspections.
Small-scale multi-family housing is excluded from mandatory management under current law, so there is no management entity such as a management office, resulting in insufficient building safety management.
Through the safety inspection, the county checked the overall condition of facilities including excellence and drainage management status in preparation for winter, and safety inspections of children's playgrounds.
For items requiring repair or reinforcement, the county plans to provide measures so that residents can manage their multi-family housing more efficiently on their own.
Governor Sim Min said, “Through this inspection, we will do our best to help residents enjoy a more comfortable living environment, improve vulnerable areas, and realize a safe Imsil.”
