Jung Hyun-ho, Vice Chairman and Head of Samsung Electronics Business Support Task Force

On the 7th, Samsung Electronics announced that it promoted President Jeong Hyun-ho to Vice Chairman through the 2022 regular executive personnel reshuffle. Vice Chairman Jeong Hyun-ho, known as an expert in finance and strategic planning, is considered one of the suitable figures to lead Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong's 'New Samsung.'

Jeong Hyun-ho, head of the Business Support TF, supported the establishment of mid- to long-term business strategies and the discovery of synergies between Samsung Electronics and its affiliates to strengthen business competitiveness. Although he took responsibility and resigned during the series of events surrounding the dissolution of Samsung's Future Strategy Office in March 2017, he returned in November of the same year as head of Samsung Electronics' Business Support TF and helped solidify Lee Jae-yong's leadership structure.
