[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The National Human Rights Commission announced that it will hold a discussion forum titled "Current Status and Issues in Securing the Rights and Establishing a Welfare System for People with Mental Disabilities" at 2 p.m. on the 7th, jointly with Democratic Party lawmaker In Jae-geun and the Research Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
At the forum, participants will review housing, welfare, and employment services for people with mental disabilities within the community and discuss issues and alternatives regarding ▲ integrated welfare and treatment plans for people with mental disabilities in the community ▲ establishment of a welfare delivery system for people with mental disabilities ▲ legal grounds and foundations for securing the rights and welfare of people with mental disabilities.
