[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Life care brand Luhens of environmental home appliance company Wonbong announced on the 7th that it has launched two types of portable water purifiers, ‘MyPort Water Purifier,’ which require no installation.

The Luhens MyPort Water Purifier is a ‘natural filtration type’ that purifies water immediately through a filter when tap water is poured into the water tank without separate power. Depending on lifestyle, users can choose between two types with total capacities of 2.6L (WCP-100) and 3.8L (WCP-200).

The ‘Max Clean Filter’ applied to the water purifier undergoes four stages of filtering. It effectively removes various invisible suspended substances such as iron, copper, residual chlorine, volatile organic compounds, and scale-causing components, also eliminating unpleasant odors.

The effective purification volume is 300L, extending the filter replacement cycle. Based on a daily use of 5L, it can be used for up to two months, reducing filter replacement costs and plastic waste while enabling economical use.

The smart timer notification function attached to the top of the product allows users to check the 60-day replacement cycle. Both the water outlet and water tank can be detached and cleaned, enhancing hygiene. Wonbong explained that it is convenient for campers as no separate installation is required.

A Luhens official said, "The MyPort Water Purifier is a mini water purifier aimed at consumers who find installation difficult or using bottled water inconvenient," adding, "We improved the effective purification volume to enhance convenience by allowing consumers to replace the filter once every two months."
