1614 Confirmed Cases in Seoul by 9 PM... 234 More Than the Previous Day

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Seoul City announced that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was provisionally counted at 1,614 from 0:00 to 9:00 PM on the 6th.

Compared to the same time frame, this is 234 more than the 1,380 cases reported the previous day and 521 more than the 1,093 cases reported a week ago on the 29th of last month. The total number of confirmed cases for the entire day was 1,408 on the 5th and 1,186 on November 29th.

The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul set five consecutive records since the implementation of With Corona: 1,436 on the 16th, 1,734 on the 23rd, 1,760 on the 24th, 1,888 on the 26th, and 2,222 on the 30th.

In this month alone, the upward trend continued with two more record highs in the first week: 2,268 on the 1st and 2,273 on the 3rd.

Meanwhile, as of 9:00 PM on the 6th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was provisionally counted at 168,200.
