[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk (Governor Shim Min) announced on the 6th that it recently carried out roadside tree leaf and waste removal work as part of an environmental maintenance project to create a pleasant environment for companies located in Osu and Sinpyeong Agricultural and Industrial Complexes in preparation for the winter season.
The county performed its third environmental maintenance project this year, following roadside mowing work during the last summer season and environmental cleanup in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.
In particular, Osu Agricultural and Industrial Complex, with its 30-year history, experiences a large amount of fallen leaves on the roadside during the winter due to the influence of old roadside trees.
The fallen leaves, mixed with soil and other debris, can block road drainage facilities, causing road flooding during the summer monsoon season and inconveniencing the commuting of resident companies.
The winter environmental maintenance project aims to prevent road obstacles in advance and keep the surroundings clean, receiving great support from the resident companies.
The county renovates aging road facilities and removes roadside weeds and fallen leaves more than three times a year through environmental maintenance in the industrial complexes, renewing the image of the complexes and creating a clean environment to facilitate the production activities of companies located in the local agricultural and industrial complexes.
Kim Insu, CEO of a company in Osu Agricultural and Industrial Complex, said, “Thanks to the county’s continuous support for creating a pleasant industrial complex, it has become a clean and safe place,” adding, “As a result, the image of resident companies has improved.”
