At Dongsan Medical Center in Daegu City, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony was held on the 3rd, and people are taking commemorative photos while making finger heart gestures.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] On the 3rd, Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center in Daegu held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
Under the watch of Lee Seyeop, Director of Dongsan Medical Center, Hwang Jaeseok, Director of Dongsan Hospital, and several patients and staff, the Christmas tree lights were turned on.
As the tree lit up brightly, cheers and applause erupted from those watching, and the gathered people prayed for their wishes for the upcoming Christmas and New Year.
After the lighting, the nursing department choir sang Christmas carols, bringing smiles to patients and their families and enhancing the year-end atmosphere.
The Dongsan Hospital Christmas tree, which will shine until February next year, was decorated with large candy cane and gift models, and snowflake LED lights were installed on the second-floor railing wall.
A hope-sharing donation box was installed next to the tree, and donations will be collected until January next year. The collected funds will be used for the medical expenses of economically disadvantaged patients.
As in the previous year, an outdoor light tree was also decorated, and between the light trees, a light structure in the shape of a gift box was installed, creating a photo zone for photography.
Lee Seyeop, Director of Dongsan Medical Center, said, “I am happy to have prepared a Christmas tree at the hospital to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Although many people are struggling due to COVID-19, I hope bright days will come like the brightly shining tree.”
