NongHyup Bank and Korea Fiscal Information Service Sign 'Sustainable Carbon Neutral Society Business Agreement'


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Fiscal Information Service for the "Realization of a Sustainable Carbon Neutral Society."


The "Korea Fiscal Information Service" will practice energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction in the daily lives of its employees, and "Nonghyup Bank" will strive to expand the base of low-carbon green living by providing financial preferential services to employees who practice carbon neutrality in their daily lives.


In addition, both organizations will actively promote energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction activities, accumulate funds corresponding to those activities, hold events to deliver Korean agricultural products to underprivileged groups, jointly discover and operate social contribution activities, and make their best efforts to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management by establishing a virtuous cycle structure of social contribution through mutual synergy effects.


Kwon Junhak, President of Nonghyup Bank, stated, "We will take the lead in creating a sustainable Korea and a 100-year Nonghyup together by expanding pioneering ESG management practices and social contribution activities."
