[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The series "Myeoneuragi," which resonated with viewers through its realistic portrayal of married life, is returning.
Kakao Entertainment announced on the 6th, "We have confirmed the production of 'Myeoneuragi' Season 2, a KakaoTV original," adding, "It is scheduled to be released in January 2022."
In the video released by Kakao that day, Kwon Yul described Season 2 as "like a deepened earthenware pot." Also, Moon Heekyung, Baek Eunhye, and Choi Yoonra said, "It will be moving," and "We cried a lot while reading the script."
Previously, "Myeoneuragi" gained popularity by realistically depicting the chaotic entry of a novice daughter-in-law into the in-law family. Expectations for Season 2 are high. The sequel will feature all the actors from Season 1, including Park Haseon, Kwon Yul, Moon Heekyung, Kim Jonggu, Jo Wanki, Baek Eunhye, and Choi Yoonra.
Additionally, Park Haseon returns as Min Sarin in "Myeoneuragi."
In Season 1, Park Haseon played Min Sarin, a working woman who had been married for just one month, portraying the most ordinary daughter-in-law. In Season 2, Min Sarin, who had thought she had left behind her novice daughter-in-law days and only peaceful days remained, becomes involved in an unexpected incident, experiencing a relatable story and showing a stronger, more mature growth.
"Myeoneuragi 2" will be released on the online video service (OTT) KakaoTV in January 2022.
