[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] An earthquake occurred in the sea east of Qingdao, China. It is in the West Sea region of South Korea.


On the 3rd, the Korea Meteorological Administration announced that an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred at 9:08:22 PM in the sea 324 km east of Qingdao, China.


The epicenter is at 35.81 degrees north latitude and 123.88 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 17 km.


The Korea Meteorological Administration explained, "Although it does not meet the overseas earthquake information announcement criteria (magnitude 5.0 or higher), seismic waves can be felt in the Jeonnam and Jeonbuk regions."
