[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 3rd that it will conduct the '2022 Changwon City Publicity Media Usage Target Contest' for corporations and organizations until the 23rd.

This project is aimed at opening some of the publicity media owned by the city to corporations and organizations within the jurisdiction that are having difficulties promoting their products or businesses. It provides free support for advertisement design production, installation, and broadcasting.

The targets are corporations and organizations with headquarters or main offices within the jurisdiction, which are defined as administrative and financial support targets by laws or ordinances, and small businesses and small merchants among non-profit corporations and organizations.

However, corporations and organizations selected as usage targets in 2020-2021 may be excluded from selection depending on the total number of contest entries.

Final selection will be made through deliberation by the Changwon City Publicity Media Operation Committee. Selected companies will receive support such as the production of promotional material designs and posting on the city’s publicity media for about six months.

Jeong Min-ho, Public Relations Officer, said, "This project aims to help small merchants and non-profit organizations struggling with promotion due to lack of manpower and costs," and added, "We hope many companies and organizations will participate."

Meanwhile, the publicity media citizen opening project has been implemented since 2016, selecting 196 companies over six years and providing free advertising support.
