A film industry insider told Asia Economy on the 3rd, "Jeon Jong-seo and director Lee Chung-hyun are dating," adding, "Since 'Call,' they have had good feelings for each other and have developed into lovers, nurturing their love." Jeon Jong-seo's agency also conveyed the same position.
Lee Chung-hyun is the director who directed 'Call,' released last November on the online video streaming service (OTT) Netflix, and Jeon Jong-seo played the role of serial killer Oh Young-sook, working together on the film.
Lee Chung-hyun, who gained attention with the short film 'Body Price' (2015), made his feature film debut with 'Call.' Although it was promoted with the goal of being released in March of that year, it was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and was released on Netflix eight months later.
Jeon Jong-seo and director Lee Chung-hyun have recently appeared together at official film industry events. They participated together in the 6th Chungmuro Film Festival - Director's Event held last month and also attended the Busan International Film Festival this year.
