Seok Hye-jung, appointed as the Head of the Digital Headquarters, is known as an expert who previously served as a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting and conducted numerous digital strategy consultations for financial institutions and global companies. In particular, having engineering experience at LG CNS and financial experience at Citibank, she is regarded as a suitable talent to lead IBK Industrial Bank's digital transformation.
Seok is expected to apply the latest digital trends to IBK's digital transformation strategy by leveraging her recent experience in establishing digital transformation strategies and developing digital new business models in the financial sector.
Through an open recruitment for the Senior Research Fellow position at the IBK Economic Research Institute, Dr. Byung-hee Sung was appointed. Dr. Sung worked at the Bank of Korea for over 30 years, serving in the Financial Stability Analysis Department, Macroprudential Analysis Department, and the London office, and is a macroeconomic expert with high expertise in domestic and international real economy as well as monetary and financial policies.
By hiring the new Senior Research Fellow, IBK Industrial Bank plans to strengthen its in-house research capabilities utilizing internal SME and financial big data, and further enhance support for SMEs, soundness management, and overseas business strategies.
