Hyosung Receives the 22nd Veterans Culture Award

Recognized for Contributions to Housing Renovation Support for Veterans and Care Services for Veterans' Families

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyosung was finally selected for the '22nd Veterans Culture Award' chosen by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs on the 2nd, becoming the sole company to receive the Veterans Culture Award.

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs selects a total of five individuals or groups each year through recommendations and applications who have contributed to the spread of veterans culture. The Veterans Culture Award is given to individuals or organizations that have carried out projects honoring those who sacrificed or contributed to the Republic of Korea, such as independence activists, war veterans, democracy merit recipients, and UN war veterans, and commemorating their spirit.

Since 2012, Hyosung has supported the renovation of homes for war veterans in cooperation with the Army Headquarters. Additionally, since 2015, it has provided 'Love Daily Necessities' to veterans' families facing financial difficulties.

Furthermore, Hyosung has supported AI care robots for elderly veterans living alone and has carried out customized social contributions such as installing military facilities necessary for military life over six years since 2016.
