[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Baedal Minjok is producing and distributing a guidebook free of charge to help people with developmental disabilities easily use the delivery application (app).
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced today (the 3rd), on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, that they have published "Easy Delivery App Usage Guide" in collaboration with the social enterprise "Sosohan Sotong."
This guidebook was planned to lower the digital barriers for people with developmental disabilities, and their opinions were reflected in the production process. The Easy Delivery App Usage Guide details the entire process of using the delivery app, from app installation to membership registration and order payment.
The guidebook will be distributed both online and offline simultaneously. Baemin plans to distribute 10,000 copies to about 446 locations including welfare centers for the disabled, developmental disability support centers, and independent living support housing for the disabled. Anyone can download the guidebook through the Baemin app banner for one week until the 9th.
Kwon Yong-gyu, Head of Value Management at Woowa Brothers, said, "We are preparing an online briefing session for staff and welfare workers at institutions related to developmental disabilities nationwide so that the Easy Delivery App Usage Guide can be used more easily and conveniently," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our responsibility so that no one is excluded from the happiness that food brings and everyone can conveniently enjoy good food wherever they want."
