Gwangju Nambu Fire Station, Winter Fire-Vulnerable Site Safety Management Guidance

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Nambu Fire Station (Chief Lee Jeong-ja) announced on the 2nd that it conducted fire scene safety management guidance to create a fire prevention atmosphere and strengthen the voluntary safety awareness of related personnel ahead of the winter season, which has a high risk of fire.

During this on-site inspection, four locations including Gwangju Municipal Second Nursing Hospital located in Deoknam-dong were visited to check ▲fire vulnerability factors ▲strengthening voluntary safety management guidance ▲installation and maintenance of firefighting facilities.

In addition, Nambu Fire Station focused on confirming the securing of appropriate evacuation routes so that all related personnel can evacuate quickly in case of fire, emphasizing the utmost priority on preventing human casualties.

Kim Haeng-mo, Director of the Prevention and Safety Division, said, “We will do our best to ensure that citizens can spend a comfortable and safe winter free from fires and other disasters,” and added, “We ask all related personnel to thoroughly prevent fire and safety accidents through heightened safety awareness and meticulous safety management.”
