Invitation of Author Han Seong-ok: 'Applying Book Ointment to the Heart' Book Talk, Book Pharmacy, Exhibition, and More

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Book Vitamin Toktok' event at Unam Library at 10 a.m. on the 4th to form a reading community of mutual coexistence.

This event was prepared to comfort the hearts of residents exhausted by COVID-19 and will operate author-invited book talk lectures, book pharmacy, exhibitions, and experience events.

'Applying Book Ointment to the Heart' will be held in the form of a book talk by inviting Han Seongok, a picture book author and art director, to talk while looking at her works such as 'My Sajik-dong,' 'Fly, Hyunsu,' and 'It Shakes.'

'Book Pharmacy' involves a reading psychology counselor listening to residents' concerns, diagnosing symptoms through sentence completion tests, and prescribing picture books.

In addition, various exhibitions and experience events such as magic performances and sand art 'Healing Magic' for children, traditional play experience 'Let's Play Together!', and 'Bukjeok Bukjeok Flea Market' are also prepared.

There is no participation fee for the event, and applications can be made on the Buk-gu Integrated Library website.
