Discovering New Growth Engines Through Business Model (BM) Innovation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Magic (CEO Yoon Yo-seop) announced on the 2nd that it has carried out its 2022 regular organizational restructuring and executive appointments to boldly challenge and innovate its working methods.
SK Magic established the 'Business Model (BM) Innovation Promotion Team' to discover new growth engines by reviewing the existing success formula from a zero base. To strengthen execution through focused marketing capabilities, the existing Marketing Headquarters was reorganized into the 'Customer Value Innovation Office,' 'Marketing Strategy Office,' 'Marketing Operations Office,' 'Rental Business Division,' and 'Distribution Business Division.'
The BM Innovation Team plans to discover new business models along with various new products, while focusing on differentiated product development and acquiring new customers through selection and concentration in each existing business.
Additionally, to innovate a good corporate culture for working, the existing Management Support Office was renamed the 'Corporate Culture Office.' Centered on the keywords challenge and harmony, it plans to pursue employee happiness by providing opportunities for capability development, bold recognition, and diverse communication.
Along with the organizational restructuring, Plant Manager Yoon Hak-jin of Hwaseong Factory was promoted, and two new executives were appointed. An SK Magic official stated, "Based on customer-centric management, which CEO Yoon Yo-seop has been focusing on, this year will be one of boldly challenging new ways through social value creation via eco-friendliness and innovation in working methods."
