SK Discovery Appoints President Ahn Jae-hyun... 2022 Executive Personnel Changes Implemented

SK Discovery announced on the 2nd that it has carried out executive appointments for 2022, including appointing Ahn Jae-hyun, President of SK Ecoplant, as the new president.

Since its launch in 2017, SK Discovery has successfully established a holding company system, and now, to achieve a new leap through a business portfolio transformation suitable for the Net-Zero era, it has appointed President Ahn Jae-hyun.

President Ahn Jae-hyun took office as president of SK Construction (now SK Ecoplant) in 2019 and successfully led the business structure transformation of SK Ecoplant toward eco-friendly and new energy sectors. Within the SK Group, he is known as an expert in investment and M&A (mergers and acquisitions).

Based on this expertise and experience, he is expected to significantly contribute to accelerating the promotion of green materials, bio, energy solutions, and living platform businesses, which are future growth engines for SK Discovery and its subsidiaries, as well as discovering additional growth opportunities.

Once President Ahn Jae-hyun assumes the position of CEO of SK Discovery following approval at the shareholders' meeting in March next year, he is expected to fully dedicate himself to building a business portfolio to lead ESG management.
