Changwon National University Department of Nursing Holds 'Regional Simulation Educator Network Activation Workshop'

Changwon National University Department of Nursing Simulation Education Center held the 'Regional Simulation Educator Network Activation Workshop.'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Nursing Simulation Education Center of Changwon University’s Department of Nursing announced on the 2nd that it successfully completed the 'Regional Simulation Educator Network Activation Workshop,' conducted with support from the National University Development Project.

The workshop held at Changwon University Nursing Education Simulation Center was attended by a total of 42 participants both online and offline, including professors from consortium and regional universities and nursing education managers from local industries, under the theme of 'Nursing Simulation Education Experience in Clinical Settings.'

At the workshop, experts from Seoul National University Hospital and Asan Medical Center were invited to give lectures on the application of effective simulation techniques related to pediatric intensive care nursing and the development of VR-based nursing education programs, followed by a 'table top exercise' for simulation practice.

Jeon Mi-kyung, head of the Department of Nursing, stated, "We will continue to establish a systematic educational environment and hold lectures on the latest knowledge to fulfill our educational responsibility for activating regionally linked simulation education."
