4 Flights Departing from Busan and 3 Flights Departing from Gimpo, Returning Over Kyushu, Japan

Air Busan announced on the 2nd that it will operate 4 non-landing overseas routes from Gimhae International Airport and 3 from Gimpo International Airport throughout December.
From Gimhae International Airport, flights will operate on △December 18 (2 flights) △December 25 (1 flight) △December 26 (1 flight). From Gimpo International Airport, flights will operate on △December 18 △December 19 △December 26, one flight each day.
The flights departing from Gimhae International Airport will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, flying over Tsushima Island, circling the western Kyushu region of Japan including Saga and Kumamoto, and then returning to Gimhae International Airport.
The flights departing from Gimpo International Airport will take about 2 hours, flying over Daegu and Busan to Tsushima Island airspace, then returning to Gimpo International Airport.
Among Air Busan’s non-landing international sightseeing flights in December, 3 flights are sold through the Air Busan website, and 1 flight from Gimhae International Airport and 3 flights from Gimpo International Airport are charter flights operated by Lotte Duty Free.
The non-landing international sightseeing flights sold on the Air Busan website depart from Gimhae International Airport on △December 18 △December 25 △December 26, with one flight each day.
Air Busan has decided to hold an in-flight lucky draw event for passengers. Prizes include ▲round-trip domestic flight tickets ▲Air Busan goods, and discounts at Air Busan’s online in-flight duty-free shop will also be offered.
Air Busan, the first domestic airline to introduce non-landing flights, operated 62 flights over the past year from December last year to November, serving a total of 7,093 passengers, according to research.
The average load factor was 85%. Regarding the popularity of Air Busan’s non-landing product, an Air Busan official explained, “It is attributed to the fares with high discount rates, duty-free discount benefits for budget shopping, and the provision of giveaways.”
With the government’s phased implementation of daily life recovery, the seat restriction policy applied to non-landing international sightseeing flights was abolished starting in December, leading to a surge of many people taking these trips, Air Busan explained.
