Gyeongsang National University Awards Three Outstanding Startups in Incubation Center

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University Startup Incubation Center announced on the 30th that three resident companies each received commendations from the Governor of Gyeongnam Province and the Head of Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration at the ‘2021 Startup and Investment Activation and Venture Startup Promotion Meritorious Person Award Ceremony’.

Woojeong Engineering is a company that developed the nation’s first ‘Automatic Adjustment Tube Measurement and Manufacturing System’ using 3D scanning technology and successfully commercialized it targeting major domestic shipbuilders, achieving more than double sales growth annually.

The adjustment tube manufacturing device currently relies on manual equipment, but by completing the ‘Development of Automatic Adjustment Tube Manufacturing Robot System and 3D Pipe Automatic Cutting Robot System’ in 2022, it is a promising startup company with plans to expand domestic market sales as well as enter overseas markets.

IP Camp is a company developing AI-based non-face-to-face care systems exclusively for disabled parking zones and has developed a solution that processes parking violation data through administrative networks in a one-stop manner.

By providing this through a standardized cloud platform to public services of local governments nationwide, it is expected to reduce initial implementation and construction costs.

Also, 3D Space applies 3D printing to the root industry. It reduces product manufacturing costs by 3D printing plastic injection molding and provides services such as product design and 3D printing.

A representative of the Startup Incubation Center said, “We hope that the achievement of receiving the highest rating for eight consecutive years in the recent center evaluation will be a comfort and hope to startups during difficult times,” and added, “We will spare no support to help more companies achieve excellent results.”
