[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education conducted an integrity training session on the 30th of last month for ethics officers and anti-corruption officers from various schools and institutions.
The integrity training was organized to eradicate corruption in the public sector and to promote a culture of integrity within organizations.
The training was conducted remotely to prevent COVID-19 infections, with some sessions held in person.
Kim Hyo-kwang, a former head of the Inspection Office at the Korea Military Academy and a professional lecturer, explained key points of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention System, focusing on practical cases including major violations of related laws.
Lecturer Kim Hyo-kwang received the grand prize at the 2018 Integrity Education Lecture Contest hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
Superintendent Noh Ok-hee said, “I ask everyone to unite in order to fully bloom the flower of future education on the foundation of an integrity-based organizational culture.”
