Lotte ON Opens Donation Funding 'Rejoice ON'... Supporting Youth

Lotte Shopping will open the donation funding platform 'Rejoice On' on Lotte ON starting from the 1st of next month.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Shopping announced on the 30th that it will open the donation funding event "Rejoice On" on Lotte ON starting from the 1st of next month.

Rejoice On is Lotte Shopping's first online fundraising event, and all donations will be used to support "Young Carers," youth who are simultaneously responsible for both their studies and livelihood. Young Carers refer to adolescents or young adults who have no income but must support their families while continuing their education.

The fundraising goal for this event is set at 30 million KRW. Customers who wish to participate can access Lotte ON and click the "Support Young Carers on Rejoice On" button. Participation is limited to once per person, and Lotte Shopping will donate 1,000 KRW per click. Once the target amount is reached, the donation event will end, and the collected funds will be distributed as 1 million KRW each in the form of self-development support and counseling support to 30 Young Carers.

A Lotte Shopping official stated, "We are conducting this donation funding event to support the future of young people who may have to give up their dreams to support their families. Starting with Rejoice On, we plan to actively support women as well as neighbors in welfare blind spots, and we will strive to spread the culture of donation both offline and online."
