Up to 50% Support for Farmers' Insurance Premiums... Investigation of Eligibility Loss and New Beneficiaries Together
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it will conduct a comprehensive survey until December 10 for the second half of the year to support 'Farmers' Health and Pension Insurance Premiums.'
This comprehensive survey is the second inspection procedure to verify the eligibility of the subjects among farmers following the first review by the corporation.
The 'Farmers' Health and Pension Insurance Premium Support Project' is a program that reduces insurance premiums by up to 50% to ensure stable living, welfare improvement, and old-age income security for farmers. The survey is conducted twice a year, in the first and second halves.
The first survey mainly involves cross-checking the farmers' information database (DB), and the second survey verifies whether those who are not registered in the farmer-related information data but receive insurance premium support are engaged in farming activities based on this.
A Hamyang-gun official stated, "We are careful to prevent personal information leakage during the survey process," and added, "We plan not only to exclude ineligible subjects but also to actively discover new eligible recipients."
