A Total of 53 Local Artist Teams Selected, Planner Matching and Creative Support Planned
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Suncheon Cultural Foundation (Chairman Heo Seok) announced on the 29th that it will make every effort to match planners and support creation for local cultural artists who wish to apply for public project funding next year.
Through the local artist and cultural planner matching project, the Suncheon Cultural Foundation has been selected for national institution public projects worth a total of 336 million KRW for 18 teams since last year.
Additionally, with a foundation budget of 100 million KRW, this year it supported a total of 28 artists through the creative arts support public project, providing support to a total of 46 teams and amounting to 440 million KRW so far.
In next year's Suncheon Cultural Foundation creative arts support public project, outstanding works from this year will be selected for continuous support ranging from 5 million KRW to a maximum of 20 million KRW, and newly selected teams will be divided into creation support and presentation support, with a total of 23 teams receiving from 3 million KRW up to 10 million KRW.
Applications for the selection of art groups to support nationwide public projects will be accepted from the 6th to the 17th of next month, selecting a total of 30 teams to be matched with planners and strengthening support for local artists' applications through year-round consulting.
Details of the public projects will be posted on the Suncheon Cultural Foundation website, and other projects will be introduced in detail at the Suncheon Cultural Foundation project briefing session to be held in January next year.
