[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actors Jeong Jaegwang and Gong Seungyeon became the recipients of the Blue Dragon Film Awards' Best New Actor and Actress awards.

The 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards took place on the 26th at 8:30 PM at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, hosted by Kim Hyesu and Yoo Yeonseok.

On this day, Jeong Jaegwang from the film "Not Out" and Gong Seungyeon from "People Living Alone" each received the Best New Actor and Actress awards.

Holding the trophy, Jeong Jaegwang said, "I believe the award given to me, who is not famous, is not because I did well but as a message to not lose passion. I thank the production team of 'Not Out' and my agency staff. I am grateful to my mother watching from heaven."

Gong Seungyeon said, "Yesterday, while preparing my acceptance speech, my younger sibling (TWICE member Jeongyeon) laughed at me. I nurtured my dreams by watching films and dreamed of the day I would come to this stage. This is a very meaningful moment. I used to feel sad watching year-end award ceremonies at home, so I am happy to receive this award. Thank you."

This year's Most Audience Award went to "Mogadishu" (Director Ryu Seungwan, Production Oeyunaegang). "Mogadishu" was released in July and attracted 3.61 million viewers.
