[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Kensington Resort Jirisan Hadong announced on the 28th that it will open spa rooms where guests can enjoy a private spa with a view of Jirisan from their rooms starting next month on the 1st. To commemorate this, the "Jirisan View Spa Package" will be offered from the 1st of next month until January 31 of next year.
The newly renovated spa rooms are characterized by a nature-friendly concept. With a spacious outdoor terrace, the rooms measure 69.42㎡ (approximately 21 pyeong) and consist of a bedroom, bathroom, and living room. The bathtub installed on the outdoor terrace for enjoying a private spa is made from cypress wood over 100 years old. Cypress wood emits a natural antibacterial substance called phytoncide, and when it comes into contact with water, its unique scent gently spreads, allowing guests to enjoy a forest-like atmosphere.
A tray made of cypress wood is also installed above the bathtub so guests can relax while drinking warm tea during their spa experience. The area around the bathtub is decorated with bamboo to create a nature-friendly ambiance.
The Jirisan View Spa Package includes one night in a spa room, breakfast buffet for two, complimentary minibar, tea ceremony experience in the room, and a 10,000 KRW food and beverage voucher. The included food and beverage voucher can be used at the Korean restaurant Numaru and the caf? lounge Daban during the stay.
A representative of Kensington Resort Jirisan Hadong said, "As the number of MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) customers seeking healing in nature increases, we have leveraged the resort’s geographical advantage to newly introduce spa rooms with a view of Jirisan. We hope it will be a time to fully focus on 'rest' in nature."
