Etners Co., Ltd. Wins Grand Prize at the 8th Happy Small and Medium Business Management Awards [Im Gakgyun, CEO of Eturnus Co., Ltd.]

Etnus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Etnus) announced on the 26th that it won the Grand Prize at the 8th Happy SME Management Awards, jointly hosted by the Korea Federation of SMEs (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) and the Seoul Economic Daily.

The 'Happy SME Management Awards' is an event that recognizes companies leading youth job creation and contributing to the improvement of employee welfare. Etnus received the honor of the Grand Prize in recognition of its efforts to create an innovative workplace culture and a great company to work for through active job creation and trendy in-house welfare systems.

Under the philosophy of 'Talent First,' Etnus has been steadily creating youth jobs despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19. It encourages long-term employment of young workers by operating a differentiated compensation system and the Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction, unlike other companies in the same industry.

Even after hiring, Etnus actively operates in-house education programs to support employees' self-directed learning and job competency enhancement. Through 'Job Study' and 'Tiered Education (basic/advanced training by rank),' it helps employees adapt to their work, and through 'Selective Online Education,' it supports employees to take desired courses from over 10,000 lectures every month.

Additionally, Etnus actively operates a communication council for harmonious labor-management relations to actively collect opinions from young workers. Through annual communication council meetings, it continuously improves working conditions and welfare systems and provides various welfare programs for employees.

In particular, to promote employees' health, there are programs such as 'Three Thousand Ri on Two Feet,' which provides fitness improvement expenses for exercising every month throughout the year, and 'Twelve Months with Hiking.' The 'Twelve Months of Learning,' which provides education and learning expenses for employees' self-development, was proposed by the communication council. These are considered trendy and unique welfare programs operated exclusively by Etnus targeting the MZ generation.

Furthermore, Etnus operates welfare programs for employees' healthy lives, such as childbirth congratulatory money, Family Love Day, medical expense support, and half-day leave system, leading the improvement of the perception of SMEs as a representative family-friendly company in Korea.

Etnus CEO Lim Gak-gyun expressed, "I am proud that our efforts to create a happy SME for employees have been recognized," and stated, "We will not stop creating a corporate culture preferred by youth in the future."
