Kia AutoLand Gwangju Delivers Eco-Friendly Soap Production

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Kia AutoLand Gwangju (Factory Manager Park Rae-seok) announced on the 26th that it conducted social contribution activities to raise awareness about the seriousness of the climate crisis and to help neighbors in the local community.

On the same day, from 1 PM for about three hours, Kia AutoLand Gwangju produced 1,000 eco-friendly soaps to be delivered to neighbors in the local community with the participation of the employee volunteer group.

Following this, a delivery ceremony was held, and the eco-friendly soaps made by hand were delivered to the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Welfare Council.

The delivered soaps are scheduled to be distributed through the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Welfare Council to residential facilities for the disabled, child care facilities, and group homes.

The eco-friendly soaps made by the Kia AutoLand Gwangju employee volunteer group on this day contain beneficial microorganisms composed of yeast, lactic acid bacteria, and photosynthetic bacteria, which are expected to have environmentally beneficial effects when used.

A Kia official stated, “We made and delivered eco-friendly soaps today to raise awareness about the seriousness of the climate crisis era and the importance of environmental protection.” He added, “Kia AutoLand Gwangju will continue to carry out social contribution activities in various fields to contribute to the development of the local community.”
