Fire at Yeongdeungpo-gu Building Construction Site... 60 Evacuated

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] At around 12:09 PM on the 26th, a fire broke out at a building construction site in Mullae-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

The fire department issued a Level 1 response, deploying 140 firefighters and 40 vehicles to extinguish the fire, and 60 construction workers evacuated. There have been no reported casualties so far.

The Seoul Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Center sent a safety alert advising to avoid the area and for nearby residents to be cautious of safety accidents.
