[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, delivered a donation on the 26th to support 'Children from Crime Victim Families' in collaboration with the National Police Agency and Green Umbrella Child Fund.
Korea Investment & Securities has been actively supporting families and children affected by crime since last year, when welfare blind spots sharply increased due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The 50 million KRW donation delivered on this day will be used to provide emergency living expenses, medical costs, and daily necessities to children facing difficulties due to sudden crime victimization.
President Jung Il-moon said, "The donation was raised through a matching grant fund created together by employees and the company to protect and support victimized children," adding, "We will continue to devote constant attention and effort so that our children enduring difficult times can quickly recover their daily lives and grow up healthy."
Meanwhile, Korea Investment & Securities is conducting various projects to protect children's precious dreams and support a bright future, including the talent sponsorship project for children from low-income families 'Dreaming Children,' the 'National Children's Dream Writing Contest,' and 'Making Hickman Pouches' for children with pediatric cancer.
