[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Kia AutoLand Gwangju (Plant Manager Park Rae-seok) announced on the 25th that it held the ‘3rd K-Festival,’ a knowledge-sharing event created by employees, by inviting employees online.
The K-Festival was held with the purpose of boosting the pride of presenters through presentations and competitions of excellent improvement cases at AutoLand Gwangju, and encouraging employees to share knowledge together to further develop AutoLand Gwangju.
Marking its third year, the K-Festival was conducted online from a studio set up at the Kia Education Center, departing from the previous in-person gatherings to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The K-Festival lasted about 80 minutes and consisted of sharing excellent cases from K-Cube and the K-Quiz department championship finals.
First, during the K-Cube excellent case sharing session, five teams that achieved improvement results in their respective fields over the past year presented and shared their improvement cases.
Following this, the K-Quiz department championship finals were held online with employee participation. Various questions covering general knowledge, art, music, and group missions were presented, and the event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from employees competing for their department’s victory.
A Kia official stated, “The K-Festival, now in its third year, has been a meaningful time to boost employees’ pride, share knowledge, and strengthen their determination to improve in their respective fields.” He added, “We plan to continuously develop the K-Festival into a festival where employees share knowledge and fun together.”
