Gamgye District in Changwon City, Gyeongnam, is emerging as a new residential hub in Changwon based on its excellent living conditions, and 'Changwon Gamgye Desiang,' which offers access to all the various infrastructures of Gamgye District, is scheduled to be supplied.
The Gamgye 2 District in Changwon Bukmyeon New Town, where 'Changwon Gamgye Desiang' will be located, was developed through a large-scale urban development project. As a residential district in its seventh year of development, Gamgye District has established various infrastructures including transportation, lifestyle, education, and nature, and residents can simultaneously enjoy the urban living areas such as Uichang-gu downtown and Unicity.
According to local officials, “Located in the northern part of Changwon City and serving as a gateway to the downtown area, Gamgye District offers convenient access to both inside and outside the city due to its abundant transportation networks, as well as educational facilities and natural environments, making it a recently noted alternative residential area. In particular, since Gamgye District is easily accessible from nearby Miryang and Gimhae areas, it is expected that wide-area demand will flock to the newly supplied apartment 'Changwon Gamgye Desiang,'” they said.
First of all, 'Changwon Gamgye Desiang' enables access to Changwon's downtown living area based on excellent transportation networks. It is easy to travel to the downtown area via National Road No. 79, and through the Jigae~Namsan road, it is possible to reach the city center, where the Gyeongnam Provincial Office and Changwon City Hall are located, in about 10 minutes. In addition, there are transportation advantages such as the Namhae Expressway Bukchangwon IC, KTX Changwon Station, and the Chilbuk~Bukmyeon road (scheduled to open in 2025).
Moreover, residents can use administrative facilities such as the Gamgye Welfare Center located in Gamgye District, as well as lifestyle convenience facilities including small and medium-sized marts and neighborhood shops. It is a walking school zone with Gamgye Elementary and Gamgye Middle Schools within walking distance. When Bukmyeon High School, which will allow special rural admissions, is newly established in 2023, residents can enjoy a safe 12-year educational environment.
Additionally, 'Changwon Gamgye Desiang' is situated in a forest area surrounded by Cheonjusan and Jakdaesan Mountains and includes Gamgye Stream and numerous neighborhood parks.
'Changwon Gamgye Desiang' is a joint project by Taeyoung Construction and Daejeo Construction, consisting of 10 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors, with 1,000 households of exclusive areas 59, 72, and 84 square meters.
The complex will be developed as a park-type large complex with more than 44% landscaping and no cars on the ground. Specialized community facilities unique to the large complex will also be provided, including an indoor gymnasium, fitness center, golf facilities, sauna, after-school classrooms, and a Mom & Kids cafe.
Furthermore, all units will be primarily south-facing to ensure excellent lighting and cross-ventilation, and the design will mainly apply the 4Bay innovative floor plan preferred by buyers. Storage spaces such as dressing rooms (in all types) and alpha rooms (in some types) are also planned.
