[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 24th that it will hold its signature dessert promotion, 'Must Be Strawberry.'

Lotte Hotel explained, "This year's '2022 Must Be Strawberry' promotion, featuring strawberry desserts by pastry chef Na Seong-ju, a gold medalist at the IKA Culinary Olympics, has been upgraded into a dessert festival where consumers can express not only their taste but also their individuality."

The strawberry dessert buffet will operate every weekend (including holidays) from December 4th to May 8th of next year. Each table will be served ▲3 types of welcome food ▲22 types of desserts ▲2 drinks (coffee or tea). The dessert menu includes refreshing strawberry-flavored items such as strawberry dacquoise, tiramisu, and cakes, along with 13 meal replacement options like sandwiches, salads, and hot dishes.

The self-drawing kit, consisting of paint jam and chocolate spread from the Portuguese jam brand 'Meia Duziya,' famous for its paint tube-style packaging, and a palette, will be additionally provided. Customers who upload their uniquely decorated desserts with new colors and decorations on SNS with the required hashtags will be entered into a monthly draw to win prizes. With an additional fee, seasonal drinks such as strawberry cocktails and strawberry lattes are also available to enjoy.

During Christmas and year-end, the 'Very Very Special Buffet' will be held. In addition to the dessert buffet, special dishes suitable for the holidays such as sirloin roast, chili shrimp, and lamb chops will be added to enhance the dining experience.

The strawberry afternoon tea set (dessert tray) will be available from December 4th to May 6th of next year. It includes ▲3 types of welcome food ▲a three-tier dessert tray ▲2 drinks (coffee or tea). The three-tier tray consists of 14 desserts, including strawberry crumble choux, strawberry mousse with champagne coulis, and heart mousse shaped like jewels.

Reservations made through Naver by the 30th will receive a 10% discount. From December 1st, a 5% early reservation discount will be offered.

Lotte Hotel stated, "'Must Be Strawberry' promotion recorded sold-out days continuously last year, reflecting the 'spendemic' trend during the COVID-19 era where people did not hesitate to spend on eating and decorating," adding, "We expect this year's event, prepared with more diverse attractions and food, to be equally popular."
