Health Insurance 'Future Financial Crisis' Communication... National Health Insurance Service Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Headquarters Holds 2nd Win-Win Council Meeting On the 23rd, the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service held the 2nd Win-Win Council meeting of 2021.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The National Health Insurance Service Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters held the 2nd 2021 Win-Win Council meeting at the regional headquarters on the afternoon of the 23rd.


The Win-Win Council is a communication system established among stakeholders to prepare for the future financial crisis of health insurance, serving as a channel for collecting opinions that actively reflect voices from the field.


It is also a place to share and suggest the Service’s mid- to long-term tasks and timely current issues.


The meeting was attended by Park Si-hwan, General Director of Busan Hospital Association; Park Yong-jin, Insurance Director of Busan Dental Association; Lee Byung-hoon, Vice President of Busan Korean Medicine Association; Shin Young-hee, Chairperson of Busan Consumer Public Interest Network; Lee No-seong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kookje Newspaper; and Kim Yoon-hee, Professor of Nursing at Pukyong National University.


At the meeting, there was an explanation about the need to increase government subsidies, a major issue for the Service, and the linkage of new imposition data, which is currently the most pressing issue, followed by sharing opinions and discussions among the attendees.


Jang Su-mok, the head of the regional headquarters, said, “I am pleased to have a constructive discussion about health insurance together with providers, subscribers, and representatives of public interest organizations after a long time with With-Corona,” and added, “We will strive to create opportunities to gather diverse opinions from various sectors about the role and future of health insurance.”
